• The Stripe As Mirror: The Omaggio silver version takes the series' founding form but redirects it: the same globe body, the same calibrated bands, applied now in a metallic luster. Ditte Reckweg and Jelena Schou Nordentoft built the Omaggio to hold its character across many finishes, and the silver is its most reflective expression.
• Silver Applied On Faience: The vase is cast from white faience with five or more metallic silver bands on the globe body. Each band is calibrated to the shape it wraps, following the same system as the rest of the series; in silver, the reflective finish means the stripes pick up and return the light around them, changing with the angle.
• A Small Vase Tended: At 4.9 inches tall and 3.1 inches in diameter, the vase suits a single stem, a sprig, or a display shelf where the silver stripe can catch the light. It fits well on a windowsill, bedside table, or grouped with other Omaggio pieces. Wipe clean with a damp cloth; avoid abrasive surfaces that could dull the metallic finish.
• Metallic Bands Catch Light: Place a single stem inside or leave the vase empty: the metallic bands reflect the room itself, shifting with every movement and angle of light. The white faience between the stripes gives those reflections a still ground, and the vase reads differently depending on where it stands and at what time of day.
